Keep watching the skies

Keep watching the skies

Hello all. It has been a very long time since I last posted here. It’s been… an interesting few years. There has been a lot of ups and downs in my life but I feel my filmmaking career has definitely suffered. I’ve just not been doing what I should be doing and I have no one to blame for that except myself, even though the world is collapsing all around us due to cruelty, poisonous stupidity,…

A love that never dies… How I felt about The Blaine Brothers stunning NINA FOREVER

Filmmaking siblings the Blaine Brothersare flying back to our dreary little island after a glorious turn at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, where they’ve just premièred their début feature film NINA FOREVER. The reviews and audience reviews have been tremendous, from what I can tell from Twitter, nearly universal in their praise. Indeed, many people declared it as the best film of the…

A little Valentines Day love for KERNEL PANIC

As mentioned in my last post here (two in one day after years of bloody silence? Amazing…) I have a profound need to be LOUD.

So here I am, being loud about my short film KERNEL PANIC, which I have entered into the awardeo.tv Film Of The Week competition here.

If you’re on Facebook or Vimeo, I would be supremely grateful if you were to log in and vote for Kernel Panic at the link above!

Quite…

It’s been a while…

It’s been a while… Why I’ve not been blogging.

Well, it’s quite clear I’ve neglected this blog. Last year I was caught up in a number of  projects that sucked up all my time that sadly came to nothing. It happens a lot in filmmaking, so you just have to take it in your stride and soldier on. It’s all about keeping as many plates spinning at one time. Most will probably shatter on the floor, some may stay on there poles and see you win that…

Death or download!

Brianna Weald. Pan galactic freelancer. Reluctant adventurer. A captain without a ship, a woman in trouble…

Lost in space, captured in a gravity well and trapped inside a malfunctioning space suit, our consummate profanitist finds herself burying old grievances, shedding her suspicions and ejecting reservations in order to save her life.

For on a hard drive, far far away, within the depths of the Heart Corporation’s planet sized data-centres, lurks the newly improved saviour-ware that is VERSION 10.

It’s time for an upgrade…
